1951 Flxible CAT!
Hi, before moving to Oregon we lived at Somerset, CA, my husband owned Terminal Truck then on C St. Sacramento, he sold Terminal Truck to his employees and Terminal is still a going business in West Sacramento. When he sold , he asked them for nothing down, pay me when you can ( which they have done) and he would have his rigs, bus, Land Cruiser, Jeep, car, pickup etc. fixed anytime again for no money. The flex has had good care, I need to sell ,because she is just to big for me alone, the I love to drive her, thanks for doing this for me, BusNuts.com it is a great service and I do appreciate the work and expense you go to. pattybharper,8136 hwy126,florence,or.97439, 541-997-7804 Thanks for all the help, bus is in Oregon and waiting for someone to appreciate my late husband's work. he bought the bus from the state of New Mexico( no rust) she ran 50 miles each way from prison to court. My husband put her on a flatbed and had her shipped to his shop, Terminal Truck in Sacramento, CA There she was put up on a frame rack and every thing was removed except the steering post, dash ( which were x-rayed) at that time she had a Buick straight 8,and then my husband's dream coach began. The bus was professionally done. in his life time his employees said he probably spent over 100,000 if anyone had kept take of the shop time, which of course was never done. When my husband's health started to fail, he sold his shop to his employees, no money down, pay me when you can (they did) and he reserved the right to have any of our vehicles and of course the bus repaired at the shop at no cost. To continue his dream, he changed engines 5 times. Yes he played with his bus which he always called the ole blue goose. I really don't want to sell her, but know she is just to big for me to take on the road alone. I have friends in Baja who keep saying come on down, anyone know a good driver that wants to sit on the beach and fish for dinner? pattybharper@yahoo.com Hi, my flex is a 1951,yes it is road ready,3208 cat diesel, Allison 641 automatic, both engine have only 12,000 miles, the flex was professionally done, fuel 110 gal., water 150 gal., gray water 80, solar panel, new gel batteries for frig which is electric, 2 air conditioners, panel heater, 12 volt and propane lights, will send complete list on request. the flex, is at my home in its own garage, located in Florence, Oregon 97439,541-997-7804, patty b Harper 8136 hwy 126, florence,or.97439 |
